Cuttyhunk gets South Coast restaurants, cafes, inns and tour operators more direct orders and bookings by fixing where guests slip away: a menu that will not load, a Google profile with old hours, and apps that own the customer. Week one we find the leaks, month one we fix them, then we keep them fixed.
Where the guests slip away
If you run a kitchen, a bar or an inn, some of this will sound like you.
- “The menu on our site is a PDF nobody can read on a phone.”
- “Half our orders come through an app that takes a cut and keeps the customer.”
- “People ask on Facebook whether we are open, and nobody sees it until the next day.”
- “The rooms get booked on a travel site, and the guest has never heard our name.”
- “We were great last summer, and Google still shows our winter hours.”
None of it is about the food or the room. Hungry people and trip planners decide in seconds, on a phone, and pick whoever is easiest to order from or book. Every one of these leaks can be fixed.
Open when they are hungry.
Dinner gets decided at 5 p.m. on a phone. Your menu, your hours and your order button should be ready.

How we fix it
Three stages, in this order. You see the plan before we touch anything, and everything we set up is in your name.
-
Week 1
Find the leaks
- We open your menu, order link and booking page on a phone and write down every tap it takes to order or reserve.
- We check your Google profile and your listings on Apple Maps, Yelp, TripAdvisor and Facebook for old hours, wrong menus and missing photos.
- You tell us your slow shifts, your best dish and how much of your business comes through apps.
You get a one-page fix list in plain words, biggest leak first.
-
Month 1
Fix them
- A menu that opens at once on a phone, with an order or reserve button at the top.
- Your Google profile rebuilt: hours, menu, photos, order and booking links, and the right pickup and patio details.
- A direct-order or direct-booking path on your own site.
- A review ask that goes out after the meal or the stay.
You get all of it live, with logins you own.
-
Every month
Keep it working
- Fresh food and room photos on your profile, with specials and events posted.
- Every review answered, the hard ones too, from drafts you approve.
- Email and text to a list you own, aimed at your slow nights and shoulder seasons.
You get a short monthly report: calls, direct orders, bookings, reviews, and what we changed.

What changes for you
We do not promise covers or occupancy. Each month you see the real orders and bookings next to last month’s, and so do we.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| A hungry customer opens a PDF menu that will not load, and orders somewhere else. | The menu opens at once, and ordering is one tap away. |
| Delivery apps take a cut and keep the customer’s details. | More orders come direct, and the customer list is yours. |
| Your listing shows last season’s hours. | The right hours, menu and photos, the same everywhere. |
| Reviews arrive when someone happens to feel like it. | Every meal gets a polite ask, and every review gets an answer. |
| You guess which channel fills the room. | One page a month shows where orders and bookings came from. |
Questions owners ask
Do I have to stop using delivery apps?
No. Apps are fine for reach. The goal is to make direct ordering the easier route on your own site and profile, so more of your regulars skip the cut.
How soon will I see more orders and bookings?
The text-back and the new pages work the day they go live. Google profile and listing changes can take weeks to show in search. We do not promise a number; every month you see the real orders and bookings next to last month’s.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Cuttyhunk is month-to-month. Everything we set up, including the site, the Google profile and the accounts, is in your name from day one, so you keep it if you leave.
Inns, rentals and tour operators too?
Yes. A guest booking a room or a charter checks what a diner checks: photos, reviews, hours and how easy it is to book. The fixes are the same, tuned to your season.
Why bother if I am already busy in summer?
A busy summer hides the slow months. The same fixes fill February, and a guest who found you direct is easier to bring back.
